& AW LOCAL LODGE 16 ABOUT LOCAL LODGE 16  Local Lodge 16 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers is an affiliate of District Lodge 140. Sometimes we are better known as either the "IAM" or "The Machinists". We represent over 1500 working men and women in the air transportation sector in B.C. Local Lodge 16 represent aircraft mechanics, ground handlers, cabin services agents, customer service agents and pre board screeners.
